Meet Joy + Julie

Included in every wedding package is the top-notch coordination service spearheaded by Joy and Julie.

Joy, the venue owner, is the head of the operation. She creates timelines, floorplans and handles all correspondence leading up to the wedding day. Every line item is thought through and worked out thanks to her 7+ years in the wedding industry.

Julie, the venue manager + lead coordinator is the hands and feet of the operation. She makes sure the rehearsal and wedding day run flawlessly by managing all of the moving parts with the timeline and vendors, all while making sure the newlyweds are cared for and enjoying their wedding day.

The event coordination consists of three meetings to establish a timeline, floorplan and to make sure all of the little details are accounted for.

On the day of your event, The Refinery Staff ensures everything is running smoothly and according to the timeline, distributes vendor payments, oversees setup for the ceremony and reception sites, run the ceremony, direct guests to the reception area, and manages the timeline for cocktail hour, dinner, toasts, cake, bouquet toss and exit.

At the end of the event they will assist in collecting all decor into one area for easier clean-up and help load vehicles with gifts and decor.
